Here I Am: Understanding and Shining My Inner Light. We chose this theme because it seems timely in a troubled world where individuals can burn out in desperation at the many fronts needing action. Friends know the joy and the terror of taking on an individual leading, the security of our F(f)riends support, and the creative strain of conflict. How can we base our actions in Love and let that shine forth, no matter how the people with whom we share our gifts are reacting?

These three Friends shared part of their life's journey and reflect with great honesty about the role of following the light and leadings along the way. Dave_Hackett is part of Kickapoo Valley Monthly Meeting and lives in the testimony of Simplicity. Josephine Yanasak is a teen from Milwaukee Monthly meeting and recounts her challenges and rewards of urban life. Kat Griffith is a member of Winnebago Worship Group and is working on race inclusivity in her community in Ripon.

After the Plenary presentations the assembled broke into small groups to share their experience of leadings and the challenges involved in faithfully discerning and following where Spirit Leads.
